Channel 4 designer joins local developers
Priory View have chosen TV Interior Designer Susie Lyons to deliver their latest show home at Pineridge, 17 Rosemount Road, Alum Chine, Bournemouth.
A familiar face amongst the ‘Film on Four, Interior Designers of Bournemouth’, and featured regularly during the past year, Susie has once again, brought her diverse interior design capability, passion and natural flair to this project, with stunning results.
Susie’s sympathetic scheme reflects what is a gloriously peaceful, yet luxurious and well-appointed home, in textures, colours and tones that echo its beautiful location, overlooking the leafy chine, a short walk to the beach.
Not surprisingly, Priory View report that the show home has already been a great success, effectively selling three of the two-bed apartments prior to official release.
You can see Susie’s work by calling Mays Estate Agents on 01202 757555. To contact Susie, her new Studio is in Christchurch Road, Ringwood on 01425 478759.

Rent now buy later scheme announced
The Government has announced new plans to support the housing market. Probably the most significant, not least in the current market, is the new rent-to-buy scheme for first-time buyers. Under the scheme, eligible households earning £60,000 a year or less will to able to rent a new home at a discounted rate for a period of two to three years. They will have the option to buy a part share in the home through the New Build HomeBuy Scheme.
The lower rent - 80% of the market value or less - will, says the Government, enable the household to save for a deposit to buy the share in the home. The scheme will be piloted by the Housing Corporation and then assessed to see if it is worth rolling out to housing associations.
There will also be more money to buy unsold stock from developers. On top of the £200 million that has already been allocated to buy off unsold stock to turn into affordable housing, more money could be made available should the properties be of the right type, in the right place and offered at the right price.
